We are still open but please don’t travel unless absolutely necessary this is a good day to stay home and enjoy family timeThe City has been notified that the Clinton County Courthouse and many of our downtown businesses will be closed on Thursday, December 22nd, due to inclement weather. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close Plattsburg City Hall as well. Emergency Services will still be on-duty and our Public Works and Utility crews will be hard at work keeping the streets clear and the gas turned on.Since our offices were already scheduled to be closed on Friday, December 23rd for Christmas, City Hall won't be open until Tuesday, December 27th. Accumulating snow will move into northern portions of the forecast area early Thursday morning and spread southeast across the region through the day. Two to 6 inches of snow is expected, with most of that snow falling in few hour period at any given location. Also, strong gusty winds will produce blowing and drifting snow conditions.
